Terms of Use
These terms are between you and WeekBill ("we" and "us"). By using WeekBill, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy says how we handle your information.
Who may use WeekBill
WeekBill is for sole traders working in Australia who bill clients for their work. You use it for your own business, and you're responsible for what's done in your account.
The service
WeekBill turns what you say or type about your work into invoices, sends them for you, and helps you get paid.
It's free today: no subscription, and no fees for you or your clients. We may offer paid plans later. If we do, we'll tell you before anything changes for you, and whatever you've already made stays yours on any plan.
WeekBill never holds or moves your money. Your clients pay you directly.
Your responsibilities
- Your details are right. Your ABN, GST registration and payment details are correct and up to date. WeekBill checks your ABN and GST status on ABN Lookup, but what your invoices say is up to you.
- You may share your clients' details. You have the right to give us your clients' details, and for us to email them your invoices and reminders.
- Your invoices and tax are yours. You're responsible for your invoices, and for your tax. WeekBill isn't tax, legal or financial advice. If you're unsure, ask the ATO or a tax adviser.
- Your sign-in is yours. Keep your Apple or Google account safe: it's how you get into WeekBill.
AI results
WeekBill uses speech recognition and an AI model to turn what you say into jobs. Speech is written down by Apple's or Google's speech recognition. The AI model isn't switched on yet, and our Privacy Policy will name the service that hosts it before it is. Both can get things wrong.
That's why WeekBill shows you the jobs it finds before it saves them, and tells you what it understood from each reply. Nothing goes to a client until you say so: you slide to send invoices, and confirm each reminder, correction or cancellation. Check your jobs and invoices before you send them.
Acceptable use
Don't use WeekBill to:
- bill for work that wasn't done, or send false or misleading invoices
- send anything to people who aren't your clients, or anything that isn't about your invoices
- harass anyone, or break any law
- get into anyone else's account or our systems, or overload them
We may close an account that breaks these rules.
Availability
We work to keep WeekBill running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Most of the app works without signal, and your work syncs when you're back online. Sending invoices, finding the jobs in a note and backing up your work need our servers and the services we use. We may change or remove features, and we'll tell you first when it affects your work.
Liability
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, or for losses caused by details you or others gave us, by invoices paid late or not at all, or by services outside our control. Where the Australian Consumer Law lets us limit our liability, it's limited to supplying the service again.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time: in the app (open You, then Account, then Delete my account), or at weekbill.com/delete-account. Email yourself your invoices first. Once your account is deleted, it can't be brought back. Invoices you already sent stay with your clients.
We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever stop running WeekBill, we'll tell you first, so you can email yourself your invoices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales can hear disputes about them.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you before a change that matters takes effect. If you keep using WeekBill after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
